The average total daily screen use among adolescents more than doubled during the COVID-19 pandemic, according to a group of international researchers. In a study published Monday in the journal JAMA Pediatrics, the group found that screen use rose to 7.7 hours per day from pre-pandemic estimates of 3.8 hours per day.
